This is a large-volume prepared mix that is loaded full of essence associated with festive period, rendering it perfect for hosting a festive gathering. Reserve the remaining syrup for breakfast cocktails, sweets, or to make additional servings of bikinis.

Serves 10 people
Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
Ingredients for the Drink (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
For the Citrus Syrup: Place the listed components into a pan, bring to a light boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Next, remove from the stove and leave to reach room temperature entirely. Decant to a clean bottle, cap it and refrigerate it in the fridge, it can be stored for around a month.
For the Batch Mix: Pour the specified liquids into a sizeable container, let it rest for an hour, then pass it through preferably using a fine cloth, making it fully clarified.
To serve: Pour 85ml of the cocktail base into your cocktail shaker containing ice, and agitate gently for a minute to chill. Filter into a frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, garnish with the cranberries adding the final touch using a quick spritz with the mandarin essence above the glass.
